In short

Evenzo never asks for your name, email or phone number. There is no sign-up. All the app needs to work is an anonymous installation identifier.

What is processed

Installation identifier. A random string created on your device at first launch and kept in the system keychain. The server uses it to recognise the device and to attach a subscription to it. It is not linked to your identity or to any advertising identifier, and it is not shared with third parties.

Photos of bills and price tags. Sent for recognition to the OpenRouter service only after your explicit consent and only at the moment you take or choose a photo yourself. Neither the image nor the recognised text is stored — not on our server and not in our logs. Logs keep technical metrics only: processing time, request cost and the type of photo. You can withdraw the consent in the app settings.

Subscription details. Status, expiry date and the store purchase identifier. They come from Apple, Google and RevenueCat, which processes purchases. Payment details are never available to the app: payment happens entirely inside the store.

Contacts. When you add a person from your address book, the system contact picker opens and the app receives the single card you select — its name and, where available, its photo. That name and a small copy of the photo stay on your device. Contacts are never uploaded to our server and never shared. On Android the system asks for the contacts permission because the picker there returns only a reference; declining it does not break anything — you can type the name instead.

Data kept on your device. Your currency list, home currency, the people you split with, trips and saved bills are stored on the phone only and never reach our server.

What there is none of

No advertising, no trackers, no behavioural analytics, no profiling, no sale of data. The app does not ask for your location, your purchase history outside the app, or your health data.

Who receives data

• OpenRouter — the photo for recognition, with your consent, without storage.
• RevenueCat — the anonymous identifier, to keep track of the subscription.
• Apple and Google — payment processing under their own rules.

There are no other recipients.

Retention

The installation identifier and subscription details are kept while the account exists. Recognition counters are kept until the end of the billing period.

Your rights

You can delete the account and everything linked to it inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete account and data. Deletion is immediate and irreversible; there is no grace period. Consent to sending photos is withdrawn in the same section. Because the app holds no name, email or phone number, we cannot identify you by anything other than that identifier.

Children

Evenzo is not directed at children and does not knowingly process their data.

Changes

This policy may change. Material changes will be shown in the app.
